Our step by step guide to renting your property

1. Register with us!

The first step to securing a property will be to register with us. Call us, send an enquiry via our website or visit us in branch, full details can be found in the Contact section of our website. Whichever method you choose, we will make contact to discuss your search in more detail to gather as much information as possible to enable us to find you your perfect home.

4. Referencing & Administration

Once your offer is accepted we will commence the referencing process to determine your suitability as a tenant. We will collect references from your referees that you have provided and carry out credit searches via third party companies who we will work closely with to conclude your references. We will also require documentation such as proof of address, photo ID and bank statements from each tenant and guarantor (where applicable). Other documentation may be required dependant on your individual circumstances. Once you have passed your referencing we will prepare the tenancy agreement and arrange signing thereof. We will liaise with your new landlord to get the property ready for occupation and will collect your rent and deposit payment prior to move in.

2. Find the right property

To find your perfect home, take some time to think about what is most important to you regarding your ideal property. Consider things such as the size of property, location, when you need to move, how long you intend to stay and what features of the property are essential. We will use state of the art technology to match your criteria to suitable properties and then arrange a time that is convenient for you to view them. To secure a property we would recommend an early viewing. All viewings will be accompanied by a highly trained member of the team that will chauffeur you to your viewings and be available to answer any questions you may have.

5. Move in

Upon completion, we will liaise with you to arrange your move in, hand over keys and contact details for the person responsible for managing your property, and welcome you to your new home!

3. Make and agree an offer

Once you have found your ideal home, the next step will be to make an offer that we will present to the landlord. You would be required to complete an application form and confirm the details of your offer. We will then communicate your offer to the landlord and negotiate the best deal. Once your offer is accepted, you will be required to pay a holding deposit in order to secure the property and remove it from the market. It is imperative this is paid immediately to avoid losing the property. We will then progress to the referencing stage.
